Nok Air will resume its pet delivery service from Oct 1, dropped because some animals had died, after a number of requests from customers. The service applies to dogs, cats and rabbits which can be carried in a plane’s cargo compartment only. They should not have been taken on flights in the first place but their owners insisted," a Nok Air spokeswoman told the Bangkok Post on that day. The ban came a day after a man from Phetchabun province took to social media to blame Nok Air cargo staff for the death of his Siberian Husky puppy during transport from Bangkok to Trang on July 12. It urged customers to carefully study terms and conditions, and strictly follow guidelines before transporting their pets through the Nok Air Cargo service.
